Beacon’s Closet is by far one of NYC’s most exciting stores to shop in! The bargain hunter in me loves shopping here for its vast selection of vintage and modern clothing. I am addicted to the thrill of walking into a thrift store and not knowing what to expect, it makes curating the pieces in my closet that much more exciting. Most importantly, I know whatever I walk out with will be both stylish and in good condition. You see at Beacon’s Closet, the racks are always full with consignment that is near impossible to beat!
So what makes Beacon’s Closet different from any old consignment store? It is their team’s unique eye for reselling only the most coveted and high-quality pieces. This Brooklyn-based female owned shop knows what’s up with the latest fashions: there are stacks of ample basics, flirty dresses, vintage tees, Levis jeans, and more. Some of the items are even sold new with tags. Plan on finding everything from Topshop to Gucci here and don’t forget to check out their shoe collection, it is incredible. I also recommend shopping on the weeknights when it is less crowded.
If you haven’t already guessed, my dress is from this gem of a store. I stumbled upon it while shopping in the Bushwick location. Its floral print and form fitting silhouette instantly reminded me of a dress from Reformation, but it’s actually made by a brand I have never heard of. Not going to lie, I have worn this dress maybe 10 times this Summer and to think I bought it for only $15 dollars blows my mind. Now if that price has not sold you on going to Beacon’s Closet, I don’t know what will.
