How To Be Camouflage Chic

Ana Prodanovich sharing style tips on how to wear camouflage.

Happy almost New Year, babes! Hope everyone is having a wonderful time spending the holidays with loved ones. This coming year I have come up with a few resolutions and one of them is to be fearless in the way I dress. With that being said, my motto for this look was to stand out wearing camouflage, not blend in! Camouflage’s recent popularity has many fashion seekers heading to surplus stores in hopes of scoring themselves this must-have piece.

There is nothing like adding a bit of tough girl to a look, so when this popular print came back in style, the in-store selection became better than ever. Whether you purchase a jacket or pants, you can count on the multi-shade olive green print to be a versatile addition to your wardrobe. It is great for layering during the colder months and complements just about any color. Camouflage might just be the only print you will need to wear for the season!

I stumbled upon these authentic army style camouflage pants at The Vintage Twin in Soho, one of my favorite vintage stores in town. The pants were originally bootcut and I had them tapered at the ankle to become more fitted. In order to juxtapose the masculinity of camouflage, I paired the pants with some suede booties and tied the look together with an overcoat. Now it is your turn to be fearless in some camouflage chic, good luck! Xx
