Juicy Couture Tracksuit Makes A Comeback

Guys, I never thought I’d be writing this–but the Juicy Couture tracksuit is officially back! What used to be a cool girl symbol when we took advice from Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, is now being worn by current style stars like Ciprianna Quann and Ruby Aldridge! Bloomingdales launched their capsule collection with Juicy, and Vetements followed by showing a velour jumpsuit in collaboration with the brand at their Spring 2017 show.

At first, I was hesitant to accept the resurgence of a fashion item I thought I had left behind with my awkward years. But when you have Bloomingdales screaming #TRACKISBACK, it is hard to ignore the nostalgia associated with an old time favorite. I finally gave in, deciding that if was going to give my velour tracksuit another try, it would have to be under strict styling guidelines.

Determined to make my Juicy Couture tracksuit come back fresh and tasteful, the last thing I wanted to do was also break out my kitschy platform flip flops from the early 2000s. I opted for some Puma metallic creepers instead, being that they are one of my favorite sneakers this season. And since the tracksuit already makes a statement, I accessorized minimally with a chain choker and purse. Viva la Juicy!
