Pop the Champagne Color This Holiday Season

Between tree shopping to dress shopping—I have never been more inspired to celebrate this Holiday season! I think it has something to do with spending my first NYC Christmas living on my own… I couldn’t be more thankful for everything in my life (good & bad) and I’m excited to see what this New Year rings in. But before we get to that, I wanted to share some thoughts on what to wear for December’s festivities!

Pop the champagne this month both literally and figuratively by way of your wardrobe color selection! The champagne color, derived from the drink itself, is one of my most beloved hues to wear now. I love the subtle pale tint of yellow and gold, and with a touch of shimmer, it becomes the more ‘fun’ version of nude. And being that it dabbles in the same color palette as nude, its just as versatile in your wardrobe.

Reformation and other brands like Never Fully Dressed, and Maurie & Eve are best to hit up when shopping for this champagne color. They do a great job at designing simple silk silhouettes produced in this hue, especially around the Fall season. The color looks stunning paired with other light colors or even denim for a more casual look, and if I’m dressing it up I’ll usually wear it with black. Cheers!
