I believe that Valentines Day is the perfect holiday to treat yourself. Looking back on past Valentines Days, some of my best ones were spent staying in by myself, ordering Seamless, and partaking in a little online shopping. I am all about being “Miss Independent”, especially when I feel like today there is this extra pressure to find a date before February 14th. You really shouldn’t have to force things like that. Even if at the moment you don’t have a significant other to share the holiday with, that doesn’t mean you stop celebrating love and romance. There is a time and place for everything, so in the meantime, I say do some shopping and treat yourself.
I curated a few things here for you that have ‘be mine’ written all over them. I am obsessed with pieces that are delicate and have clean lines like this sensual maxi dress that I immediately fell for. Way too often dresses are overdone with complicated designs, which made it even more exciting when I came across this one that was simplistic, yet powerful. Upon finding this dress, I knew it needed shoes with the same idea, which is why I chose this pair of suede Sam Edelman heels inspired by the classic Stuart Weitzman Nudist style. Date or no date, this is a stunning look for a night out.
Now for the fun stuff… I have always loved Polaroid cameras ever since I was 5 and had my first Barbie one. I think they are the perfect outlet to instantly enjoy the beauty of photography. Spending some time with loved ones involving a polaroid is always a good idea. Maybe taking photos sounds like too much work and you are more of the type to take a relaxing bath on Valentines Day. Then try out this vial of Aquarian bath soak made with crystal healing and medicinal herbs for a holistic-inspired treatment. Whatever your heart desires, I hope there are a few picks here that can inspire you to not only treat others but yourself this Valentines Day.
